Is MyLearningLab.org free to use?
Browsing the website is free. Lesson prices vary depending on the tutor and subject selected.
Booking & Scheduling
How do I book a lesson?
Click Book a Lesson on the website, choose a subject or tutor, select a date and time, and confirm your booking.
Can parents or home-schooling families book lessons?
Yes. Parents, guardians, and home-schooling families can book lessons on behalf of a student.
Can I book recurring lessons?
Some tutors offer recurring weekly lessons. This will be shown during booking if available.
How do I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Follow the instructions in your booking confirmation email. Cancellation policies may vary by tutor.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
If a lesson is missed without prior notice, the tutor's cancellation policy will apply.

How long are lessons?
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. Any variation will be shown at the time of booking.

Lesson Booking & Packages – Parent FAQ
Do I need an account to book lessons?
No. You do not need to create an account or password. When you book a lesson or buy a lesson package, we simply ask for your email address. This email is used to securely manage your bookings.
How do I book my first lesson?
Click Book a Lesson on the MyLearningLab website, choose the lesson type and time, enter your details and complete payment. You will receive a confirmation email immediately.
How do lesson packages work?
Lesson packages allow you to save money by purchasing multiple lessons upfront. After purchase, your lessons are stored as credits that you can use immediately or at a later date.
How do I book my second (or future) lessons?
Click the same Book a Lesson link, enter the same email address you used before, and we’ll email you a secure booking link.
Do I need to pay again when booking package lessons?
No. Once you’ve purchased a package, your lessons are prepaid and each booking uses one credit.
Can I book all my lessons at once?
Yes — you can book all lessons straight away, book one at a time, or spread bookings over several weeks or months.
What if I can’t see my remaining lessons?
This usually happens if a different email address is used. Please make sure you use the same email address for every booking.
Can MyLearningLab book lessons on my behalf?
Yes. If you prefer, we’re happy to schedule lessons for you and apply your lesson credits.
What is your cancellation policy?
Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24–48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may result in the lesson credit being used.
How are lessons delivered?
All lessons are delivered online using a secure video platform.
Who teaches the lessons?
All tutors are fully vetted, DBS checked, and experienced in their subject and age group.
